One World One Heart

This Giveaway is now closed!
Hi - Welcome to my Blog. My name is Britt Fairchild and I am a Lacemaker and Lace Teacher, Embroiderer and Textile Artist and I hand paint Lace Bobbins.
I love travelling and am lucky to be able to do this with my Lace career both within Australia and also overseas. I have made many friends over the years including lots through my blog. I am looking forward to meeting more of you out there in "Blogland".

One World One Heart is a great way to get to know other bloggers and to visit like minded people all over the world.
This is a worldwide event to bring bloggers together, you can read all about it at One World, One Heart here - Thank you to Lisa.

The purpose is to encourage people, bloggers and non-bloggers alike to visit other blogs and make connections. Anyone with the One World One Heart logo on their blog is taking part. If you'd like more information click on the One World One heart in this entry or on the sidebar.

To possibly win my giveaway, you must leave a comment ON THIS POST ONLY, by February 16th, and I will announce the winner on February 17th. You need to be a blogger yourself, in order to qualify and you must leave an email address if I can't link back to you through your blog so you can be contacted if you should win.

When you click on the One World One Heart logo you will be taken to the site that will explain everything, and show you a list of every participating blogger. Visit all the blogs! Leave comments! Make new friends! Win prizes! Check back on the site, as new blogs will be listed as their authors sign up.

WHAT AM I OFFERING?
As this is the 5th year of One World One Heart - I am offering FIVE prizes this year - Each prize will consist of a Handmade Textile Bookmark (Made out of dispersal dyed fabric- with shiva/Markel stick embellishment, a butterfly and 3 Couronne (Needle lace technique) dangly rings) and a small mixed bag of textured threads and fabric scraps. See the pics above - you can click on them to see more detail.

So on February 17th I will be drawing 5 names and yours could be one! Thanks for stopping by - I hope you come visit again soon and Good Luck!

Hi Britt... Thank you for visiting my OWOH post. Lovely to meet you.
I have been browsing your blog, what a very talented and busy lady you are, love all your work. I tried bobbin lace many years ago, was too impatient and put it aside. I still have the equipment so I am thinking I might get it out and give it another go.
I also adore meerkats, could watch them for hours. Pity we can't keep them as pets.
I would be delighted if you would toss my name into the hat with a chance to win one of your great gifts.

Hi Britt,
I am returning your visit to our blog (#208 on Lisa's fab list) thanks for visiting us!
What does "Stitchety Grub" signify? I saw the comedian Billy Connoly eat a grub that some aborigines had pulled out of a tree stump, so when I read the name I am thinking of this!
Your scrapy flower braoch is so pretty, so too are the patchwork belts.
Please enter us in your prizedraw for the bookmark and mixed bag set.
